Sundays
9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Life Groups (Living In Fellowship with Each other) is the name of our small group ministry for adults which gathers each Sunday morning during our 9:00 am hour. These smaller groups, consisting of anywhere between 10 and 25 individuals (both singles, couples, and singles-again), exist to pursue the following goal: To mature in our walk with Christ by connecting with each other in meaningful relationships through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and service.
Seniors Bible Fellowship
Sundays
9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Adults in their 60s and over are invited to attend our weekly Bible study and fellowship time which meets at 9:00 am in Main Hall 3 each Sunday morning. We would love to have you join us!
Worship Service
Sundays
10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Every Sunday morning our church family gathers in our Sanctuary at 10:00 am to magnify our God through praise, prayer, and the preaching of the Word. Our children worship with us through the first portion of the service until they are dismissed to Kidz Church.
Midweek Bible Study
Wednesdays
7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
We offer a discussion-based, passage-by-passage study of a book of the Bible for everyone, young adults (out of high school) to mature adults - singles and couples. We meet for study in South Hall 8 and would love to have you join us. In the Fall of 2010, we are studying the first three chapters of the book of Revelation. Throughout the year, opportunities for Bible study, fellowship, and service are provided for the women of AMBC through the many components of our Women’s Ministry. If you have questions about the Women’s Ministry, please contact Karen Cliffe (prayer1mom@aol.com).
Tuesdays
6:00 - 7:00 a.m.
The core of AMBC’s Men’s Ministry is Man-to-Man, a twice-monthly Bible study and fellowship time where the men of the church gather to study God’s Word to learn what He expects of us as men, and to understand how He helps us become the men He wants us to be. Dadz Dayz is an event that we schedule on a quarterly basis to allow fathers and grandfathers to spend quality time with their children and grandchildren while connecting with other men in our church family.
Worship Ministry
Our music ministry seeks to support the worshipping body of Christ at AMBC in the work of corporate celebration and worship. There are several opportunities in which you and your children can become involved:
Praise Band and Praise Team—We are always looking for talented vocalists and musicians to play with us during our worship services. Contact the Director of Music (jramer@ambcakron.com) if you are interested in joining us.
LiveWirez—Our children’s choir practices during the school year on Wednesday evenings for both a Christmas and Spring musical.
Festival Choir—Beginning in September each year, our church choir and orchestra start preparing for our Christmas Cantata. Practices are held on Sunday afternoons from 4:30-6:00pm in the Sanctuary.
Audio-Visual Team—Our weekly services and special events are supported by a team of audio-visual technicians. If you have skills in this area or would like to learn, we would love to talk to you.

Leadership Connection
1st Sunday of the Month
6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Scheduled on the first Sunday of each month, the Leadership Connection is designed to unite, equip, and inform those involved in positions of leadership and service throughout our church family. Although the focus of our time is leadership development, everyone is welcome to attend. Each study ends with a question and answer time with Pastor Matthew, where anything can be asked of him regarding the church, our ministries, or our theology.
3rd Sunday of the Month
On the third Sunday of each month, we set aside time in our schedules to build relationships between the individuals and families who call AMBC their home. These opportunities for Christian fellowship take on a variety of forms, including prayer nights, game nights, church family picnics, discussion groups, and much more. Special Events
Throughout the year, we offer any number of events designed to build each member of our church body in their faith and to reach out to those around us who do not know Jesus Christ.
