LifeGroups

Maturing in our walks with Christ by connecting with each other in meaningful relationships through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and service.


Living in Fellowship with Each other (LifeGroups) is what we are called to do; in fact, in Christ, this is what we are: we are an interconnected fellowship of believers living in concert with each other before a watching world and for the glory of our God.

LifeGroups are smaller groups consisting of anywhere between 10-25 individuals (both singles, couples, and single-agains) that meet for a very specific purpose.

These four components of our LifeGroups are like the legs of a chair, each one bearing part of the weight which supports the whole.


First. We are seeking to mature in our walks with Christ. God has called us as Christians to be more and more like Jesus in the way that we live. The time we spend with each other ought to spur us on in our devotion and service to our Lord. Our fellowship in Christ, then, is not simply being together, it is a purposeful being together.


Second. We understand that individuals connected in meaningful relationships with other growing Christians is what God has designed the church to be. We were never intended to live in isolation, removed from the accountability and team-work that comes through intentional, Christian fellowship. So, we give ourselves to each other in mutual fellowship, sharpening each other to love and good deeds.


Third. Our relationships are not going to be defined simply by our being together in a church building on a regular basis. We will study the Bible together, pray for and with each other, build relationships over time, and actively serve within our church and/ or community.

For those adults who prefer a more traditional Sunday School format, we offer an Adult Bible Fellowship class during the first hour as well. This class meets in South Hall 8.
